An itinerary of medium difficulty in a high-altitude forest of centuries-old stone pines. An unspoilt environment where the sounds of nature dominate in the background. From the crest of the To della Trappola ridge, the panorama opens up before you towards Val Moena, a jewel set in the Lagorai chain, with woods, pastures and rocky reliefs in the background.

THE 10 RULES FOR HIKERS
Please note that the practicability of the itineraries in a mountain environment is strictly linked to the contingent conditions and is therefore influenced by natural phenomena, environmental changes and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this page may have changed. Before leaving for a tour, make sure the path you will approach is still accessible by contacting the owner of the mountain hut, the alpine guides or the visitor centres of the nature parks, the info offices of the local tourist board.
Reach Alpe Cermis with the two cable cars (lifts open from mid-June to mid-September). Head towards the Sporting Hotel and take path L08. The path climbs moderately to reach the crest of Tò della Trappola. From here, the path continues with slight gradients towards the Lo Chalet mountain hut.
Three return routes:
a) downhill on path L02
b) uphill to Paion del Cermis (20 minutes - 50 metres difference in altitude) and then downhill on path L01
c) uphill to Paion del Cermis (20 minutes - 50 metres difference in altitude) and then downhill with Lagorai chairlift
You can reach Cavalese by bus from each village of Val di Fiemme.
When you reach Cavalese follow the directions Funivie Alpe Cermis. On the road in the bottom of the valley you will find the cable car departure between Masi di Cavalese village and the waterfall.
There are two parkings: one in Cavalese near the lift office, the other one is on the valley floor close to the second lift office (near the river).
