A long and demanding route, a plunge into history in the footsteps of the Great War.
This evocative itinerary leads into a high mountain environment to discover mazes of trenches, emplacements and fortifications. The scenery from Cima Bocche embraces the Lagorai chain, Dolomite massifs such as Latemar, Catinaccio, Sasso Piatto, Sella, Marmolada and Pale di San Martino.

THE 10 RULES FOR HIKERS
Please note that the practicability of the itineraries in a mountain environment is strictly linked to the contingent conditions and is therefore influenced by natural phenomena, environmental changes and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this page may have changed. Before leaving for a tour, make sure the path you will approach is still accessible by contacting the owner of the mountain hut, the alpine guides or the visitor centres of the nature parks, the info offices of the local tourist board.
When you reach the mountain station of the Bellamonte 3.0 cableway, take the little path which after a few minutes reaches a forest road. Continue left in the direction of Passo Lusia (2056 m). From the pass, climb up the steep path no. 633 on the slopes of the Lasté to the pass on the ridge, from where you can admire the Lusia lakes from above. Descend slightly in altitude to reach the Redolf Bivouac (2333 m) and, skirting the lake, continue along path no. 633 to meet the second lake. Continue uphill towards Focella di Bocche (2543 m) and then to Cima Bocche (2745 m). After a stop to observe the 360° panorama, descend along path no. 626, which first leads to Bivacco Jellici and then to Lago di Bocche (2253 m). The descent continues to Malga Bocche, from where we return along the comfortable forest road no. 623 to the mountain station of the cable car.
Bus from Predazzo conntects to Bellamonte and Castelir lift station.
From Predazzo take the road to Passo Rolle. After the village of Bellamonte turn left, direction lifts of Castelir.
There are lots of parking possibility at the lift departure.
