Panoramic walk among the slopes of Latemar Dolomites ski resort.
A scenic route connects various mountain restaurants in the ski resort. From Pampeago you go up with the Latemar chairlift and then you walk past typical wooden huts. The route then slowly descends towards Obereggen while the gaze is captured by the imposing walls of the Latemar. You finally reach the Epircher Laner Alm, where we recommend taking a break before heading back.

From Pampeago, take the Latemar chairlift to the top station at 2000 m above sea level and dive into the middle of the slopes of Latemar Dolomites ski resort. However, after a few steps, you reach the well-maintained, 6 km long winter trail, lined with pretty mountain huts. It leads over the wide, sunny Passo Pampeago (1983 m), which connects South Tyrol with Trentino. The magnificent, open landscape bordered by the majestic towering rock faces of the Latemar Dolomites enchant the eye. The path slopes gently down to the Epircher Laner Alm at 1800 m, which is a cheerful meeting place for skiers and snowboarders. Tobogganers also have fun on the nearby toboggan runs. The route is sunny, sometimes windy and therefore occasionally icy. A good boot is necessary, crampons help those who feel less stable.
The way back follows the same route, bearing in mind the closing time of the chairlift back to Pampeago, 4.30 p.m.
By ski bus from Cavalese or Tesero.
First reach Tesero, then on road SP 232 to Pampeago (6 km).
Several car parkings at the start of the ski lifts.
Hiking shoes, hiking poles and warm winter clothes.
