THE 10 RULES FOR HIKERS
Please note that the practicability of the itineraries in a mountain environment is strictly linked to the contingent conditions and is therefore influenced by natural phenomena, environmental changes and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this page may have changed. Before leaving for a tour, make sure the path you will approach is still accessible by contacting the owner of the mountain hut, the alpine guides or the visitor centres of the nature parks, the info offices of the local tourist board.
From the little church in Dorà, head along the tarmac road in the direction of Palù, past the first house on the right take the grassy path before another house and climb up through the meadows. On the right is a small playground, while on the left are benches with a table. Continue straight up the steep slope, ignoring the obvious path on the right. Continue straight uphill on the path with some roots, leaving the small walls on the left. The path continues steeply up until it reaches a metre-high boulder, passing to the left and then continuing through mossy undergrowth. The path reaches a plateau and then becomes more evident and begins to descend (note a small clearing on the right). A very short ascent leads to a ridge where a change in vegetation can be seen. The path descends again, flanked on the left by a small wall and ending in a meadow and then in the asphalt road. Looking up, there is a beautiful view of the Val di Cembra. On reaching the asphalt road, turn right, returning to the starting point.
