Geotrail Dos Capèl

This is a medium difficulty level excursion for children and families. Take the cable car to Gardonè and then continue by chairlift to Passo Feudo: the Geotrail Dos Capèl starts from there and you can choose to walk it in two directions, even starting from the In.Treska Mountain Hut. The walk is a 3.5 km loop, with an altitude difference of 268 m. For small children (0-2 years) you will need a baby backpack. You are at an altitude of 2200 m a.s.l., in Val di Fiemme, on the Dos Capèl, at the foot of the Latemar, in Trentino, in the World Heritage Dolomites.

The recently renovated Geotrail Dos Capèl offers up close contact with the rocks, plants and fossils that tell the story of the Dolomites World Heritage Site.

There are 19 stations along the trail fitted with visual, tactile and audio content. The hike is suitable for everyone and can also be enjoyed by visually impaired people and people with cognitive difficulties. The best way to walk the Dos Capèl Geotrail and discover the great botanical and geological variety of these mountains is with the “Dos Capèl Geotrail. Easy to Read” guide-book in EtR (Easy to Read) language. You will need observation skills, curiosity and a spirit of adventure.
