The Magnifica Comunità is based in its own Palazzo, a building of particular historical significance in Cavalese, which hosts a gallery, a museum and an archive of manuscripts and texts of great historic importance to the Valle di Fiemme. In the Middle Ages the Princes-Bishops of Trento ordered to build the palace of the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, as see of their great Vicars and summer house. In 1850 the palace, with 14th century origins, became the central site of the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme. The tough renovations works on the building gave the palace its ancient splendour.
