If you come to Val di Fiemme, you can't miss the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Natural Park, with its deer reserve and its renowned resonant trees discovered by luthier Stradivari and still loved today by violin makers from all over the world!

The Park surrounds the Pale di San Martino, the largest massif of the site "The Dolomites", declared in 2009 a UNESCO World Heritage Site. All around, the rugged landscape of the Lagorai chain and 2,700 hectares of spruce forest protected for a long time and known today throughout the world as the Violins Forest.

Rocky walls, alpine pastures, rushing streams and tranquil lakes, fir and broadleaf woods, glaciers and peat bogs: there are so many ecosystems that characterize the park!

There are many animals living in these woods, but one above all is the king and the symbol of the park: the deer, which in autumn gives us the love song of the male in love with his deep bellows. After a few minutes, you no longer perceive the animal's cry, you only receive the magic of a vibration. It is nature that renews itself inexorably. It is a call of life, loud and clear.

In Paneveggio, you can find the visitor center open in summer and winter, a nature trail and a suspension bridge.
