From the lake it is possible to continue along the trail no. 336 and reach the characteristic Laghetto Caserina in less than an hour.
Lake Cece is a barrier-free excursion and it is also accessible to nature lovers on wheelchair on a dedicated path.

Please note that the practicability of the itineraries in a mountain environment is strictly linked to the contingent conditions and is therefore influenced by natural phenomena, environmental changes and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this page may have changed. Before leaving for a tour, make sure the path you will approach is still accessible by contacting the owner of the mountain hut, the alpine guides or the visitor centres of the nature parks, the info offices of the local tourist board.
From Ponte (bridge) Valmaggiore (1570m) take path No. 336 which goes into the woods, where the damages of the Vaia storm are visible. The route takes place first on a forest road and then continues on a classic mountain path. After passing a beautiful pasture, continue the walk, until you reach the suggestive Lago di Cece with it's wooden hut.
If you want, you can continue for about 1 hour to the characteristic Lago di Caserina, always on path No. 336. The small lake, set among large porphyry boulders, has an intense color that varies from dark green to blue.
Return back on the same route.
SS48 to Predazzo. Follow the signs for the town centre; turn right just before the bridge across the Travignolo stream (sign for ‘Valmaggiore’) and then left. Take the left road uphill (signposted for ‘Valmaggiore’) for 7 km until you reach Ponte (bridge) Valmaggiore.
