Experience walking along irregular mountain trails is recommended. It may happen that the path is not clear form snow. In the event of fresh snow, microspikes are recommended. Be careful of ice when temperatures are particularly low.
Please note that the practicability of the itineraries in a mountain environment is strictly linked to the contingent conditions and is therefore influenced by natural phenomena, environmental changes and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this page may have changed. Before leaving for a tour, make sure the path you will approach is still accessible by contacting the owner of the mountain hut, the alpine guides or the visitor centres of the nature parks, the info offices of the local tourist board.
From Bellamonte playground, take the path indicated with the Dossi Bassi table, to the left of the tennis court. Go down slightly into the woods and then turn right where you meet, under majestic fir trees, the sensory path: here in summer you can experience the contact with the needles of conifers, stones and bark barefoot. In winter go further, following the signs on the trees, along a flat path that in the quiet of the woods leads to the Belvedere Andreola: a natural terrace gives you an incredible glimpse towards the majestic Pale di San Martino and the Travignolo valley with it's stream on the bottom.
Take a short break to admire the panorama before continuing.
Further on, ignore the signs for Zaluna and continue on the path until you see the fence of a private hut: turn right and follow the fence through a thin and sometimes marshy wood. On your left you have as a reference the campsite that you glimpse among the trees. A little further on you can see a beehive and, 20 meters before reaching it, the path takes you to the right where, going down slightly, you cross the starting path. Continuing in the opposite direction to the outward journey, return to the starting point.
