From the hamlet Ponciach this trail goes in circle around the mountain of Faver to show its two sides: one pointed to the valley Val di Cembra and the other one to the valley Valle dell’Adige. On this way you can see several huts that were refuges for people and animals during haymaking period. This trail takes us to the peat bog of the lake Lago di Valda, part of the Riserva Provinciale Prati di Monte (Provincial Reserve Mountain Lawns), one of the most important and suggestive protected areas of the Rete di Riserve Alta Val di Cembra-Avisio (Reserves Network Alta Val di Cembra – Avisio).
On the way back the trail goes along the steep slope overlooking the valley Valle dell’Adige providing us with wide and unforeseen views of the valley.
