The tour winds through the silence of the Lagorai Chain woods. Before reaching the destination, there is the waterfall announcing the approach to the largest lake in the Lagorai Chain. Relaxing along this stretch of water, with its characteristic shape, is a moment of well-deserved bliss. The return requires as much effort as the climb.

IMPORTANT
Along all routes, always pay attention to other people and vehicles coming from both directions. MTB routes are not for bikers only. After windstorm Vaia in October 2018, forest roads are used also by heavy vehicles to transport wood. When riding on streets, bikers have to respect the traffic code just like drivers.
BIKER’S CODE OF RESPONSIBILITY
ALWAYS WEAR YOUR HELMET !
Please note that the practicability of the itineraries in a mountain environment is strictly linked to the contingent conditions and is therefore influenced by natural phenomena, environmental changes and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this page may have changed. Before leaving for a tour, make sure the path you will approach is still accessible by contacting the owner of the mountain hut, the alpine guides or the visitor centres of the nature parks, the info offices of the local tourist board.
From the Cross-country ski Stadium in Lago di Tesero, the cycle route easily leads to Ziano di Fiemme. Once in the area of Zanolin, leave the cycle route and follow the uphill road on your right towards Cavelonte, leaving the last houses behind you. The forest road continues in the wood for 12 km, on a constant and challenging climb, to the Lagorai waterfall. From here, a steep mule track dating back to World War One leads to the amazing Lagorai Lake, the biggest one of the Lagorai mountain chain. Its calm, deep blue waters reflect the surrounding green peaks and preserve the odd shaped trunks of mugo pines. To go back to the starting point, take the mule track first (be careful when descending) and then the forest road, getting to the small village of Lago di Tesero with wide zigzags.
