This excursion requires many hours, a good physical condition and a lot of endurance. The effort is rewarded by the incredible views towards Lake Carezza and the Catinaccio that stand out through the large towers.
You are in the heart of the Latemar group, in the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, areas of disarming beauty.
The via ferrata is only part of the route which, rather crowded at the beginning, will be much less frequented near the equipped path. The hiker will cross paths through the pastures, gravelly sections, large boulders and steps in the ground and on friable rock.

Take the Latemar chair-lift (open from mid-June to the mid-September) from Pampeago, and from the top of the chair-lift (2010 m) take trail No 521 for Passo Feudo (2175 m). Passo Feudo can also be reached by cable car from Predazzo and the Gardonè – Passo Feudo chair-lift (both open from mid-June to mid-September). From Passo Feudo take trail No 516 leading to Rifugio Torre di Pisa (2671 m). Just beyond the refuge and still on trail No 516, Torre di Pisa can be seen to the left, a huge spur of rock that leans just like the famous tower of the same name.
Continue along trail No 516 as far as Forcella dei Camosci (2590 m) and further on till you reach Forcella dei Campanili (2685 m).
Here starts the Via Ferrata (trail No 511) that leads to Rigatti bivouac.
The way back until Forcella dei Campanili is on trail No. 18, then back on the same way to Rifugio Torre di Pisa and Pampeago.
The lifts of Predazzo are reachable by bus from Predazzo and from Cavalese
The lift station of Predazzo is located on the way from Predazzo to Moena (Val di Fassa).
