The gates of the Negev desert Palestinian youth of the collective "Youth of Sumud" (young people of perseverance) fight against the Israeli military occupation using video cameras and non-violent actions. The collective was born in At-Tuwani, where the young people decided not only to continue the action of nonviolent resistance of the village’s popular committee, but also to reappropriate the lands that were stolen from their fellow citizens. To do this they are trying to renovate the old cave village of Sarura, abandoned in the late 1990s following the continuous attacks by Israeli settlers supported by the military.
