It was in the 1900s when Alfio Nicolodi's grandfather, Antonio, founded his winery in a place known with the name of Carraia.
In 1985, Alfio took it over and started following every part of the process, from planting to vinification and bottling. The best varieties of grapes were chosen and turned into top-quality wines. Since 2000, Alfio has committed to reintroducing and harvesting ancient grapevines which were once grown in Val di Cembra. In the last years, he has been reaping the benefits of such a strenuous challenge.
The winery belongs to the Cembrani D.O.C. consortium.
