The oldest church dates back to 1193, but was later rebuilt and expanded until 1882. It houses important artistic testimonies of Don Antonio Longo (1724-1820), a painter and architect from Varena, to whom the exhibition space is dedicated at the Don Antonio Longo Christmas house near the church, and at the Fiemme pictorial school.
Noteworthy on the outside, the only example among the ancient churches of Fiemme, are the large stone buttresses that support the building.

The interior preserves important fifteenth-century frescoes: on the left a large Last Supper, the image of Saint Martin, Mary, Queen and Mother with Angels and Saints. On the right is an Adoration of the Magi and other compositions with various Saints.
