The church was built between 1846 and 1851. The interior has a nave with a coffered wooden ceiling: on five large panels allegorical episodes are depicted, works carried out in 1957. The apse houses two paintings from the eighteenth-century Church of Stramentizzo, demolished in 1956 following the construction of the hydroelectric basin of the same name: a Madonna and Child and the Holy Family and St. Anne, works from 1783. The altarpiece of the main altar depicting a Madonna and Child is a nineteenth-century work by Antonio Vanzo di Cavalese. The wooden Via Crucis is a recent work (2002) by local sculptor Marco Corradini.
