Tesero's alleys and 'courtyards' are lined with many handcrafted nativity scenes, illuminated until 11 p.m. - from the beginning of December to Epiphany. An invitation to discover the cribs while strolling through the alleys, courtyards, stables, wood sheds, small windows and cellars.
The old town centre invites the discovery of fascinating places and unique architectural suggestions: the houses built close to each other, the arches and vaults, the narrow alleys, the courtyards of the houses, the stables and the cellars seem to be part of one big nativity scene.
Palces not to be missed: Piazza Cesare Battisti, which houses the historic life-size nativity scene, the same one that had the honour of being reproduced in Rome, in Piazza del Vaticano, in 2015, and Casa Jellici 'Morèti', which houses an interesting exhibition (2.30 pm - 7.30 pm).
